We were in search of cotton. Hand spun and handwoven. Not too far from Oaxaca city we went exploring in a village and in the distance, heard just what we were hoping for. The buzz of the flying shuttle looms used to weave cotton. The posada was full of looms and weavers at work. The walls were covered in brightly colored cotton fabric all hand woven right there on those looms. The head of the house came to greet us, followed by his wife and son. We shared a lighthearted experience with them as they told us about their work.  The pride they take in their craft, and passion they put into it, is clearly showcased in the beauty of their products.
